Samsung’s Toughest Watch Yet
The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra2 pushes Samsung’s high-end wearable further than the original Ultra did. It keeps the same cushion-shaped titanium case, but the build is now noticeably thinner and more refined. The profile is slimmer, yet Samsung fits a larger battery inside. This makes the watch feel lighter on the wrist without sacrificing endurance.
A Display Built for the Outdoors
At the center of the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra2 is a 1.5-inch Super AMOLED display. It reaches up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness, the first for a smartwatch. The bright display stays readable in direct sun. It benefits users on outdoor training or trail navigation. A sapphire crystal glass panel adds scratch resistance on top.
Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra2 Performance and Battery Life
The Galaxy Watch uses the Snapdragon Wear Elite platform for the first time. You can see improved responsiveness and GPS accuracy day to day. The chip uses 2GB of RAM and 64GB storage, giving the watch headroom for offline maps and music. Battery capacity grows to 800mAh, roughly 35% larger than the previous generation, and Samsung says it comfortably lasts more than two days between charges.
Health and Sports Tools
Because the Ultra2 targets serious training, Samsung added Trail Run, a feature exclusive to this model that tracks elevation, climbing progress, and cumulative ascent and descent in real time. It also introduces dive support, automatically recording depth, dive time, and water temperature, backed by EN13319 dive-instrument certification and a Mares Dive app connection. On the wellness side, the watch adds AGEs tracking, an Antioxidant Index, and Blood Pressure Trend monitoring.
Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra2 Rugged Enough for Anything
The titanium case carries an IP68 and IP69K rating alongside 10ATM water resistance, so it can handle dust, high-pressure water, and everyday knocks without issue. It’s also MIL-STD-810H certified for military-grade durability. Whether you’re logging miles on a trail or diving beneath the surface, the Ultra2 is built to keep working.
